Sweet Peach Cobbler

A party without dessert is just a meeting. You must make this sweet peach cobbler before summer ends. Delish!

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 5 cups peaches, peeled & sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 4 tsp. corn starch
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. butter, sliced
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Whisk cornstarch, sugars, cinnamon and a dash of salt together in a saucepan
  2. Gradually add water and bring to a simmer over medium high heat
  3. Boil for 1 minute or until thickened
  4. Peel and slice peaches and toss with sauce
  5. Grease a baking pan and pour peaches and sauce into the pan
  6. Slice butter and dot peaches with butter
  7. In a food processor, add flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and butter, pulsing until combined
  8. Gradually add milk to food processor
  9. Spoon biscuit dough onto peach filling
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes
  11. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
