Double-Smoked Candied Salmon Dip

A Westcoast favourite. The recipe everyone will be asking for.

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. capers, rinsed & drained
  • 2 tbsp. red onion, diced small
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
  • 4 oz. Meridian smoked candied salmon, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • Bagel chips or crackers, for serving

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine mayonnaise, cream cheese, capers, red onion, lemon juice, horseradish and half of the smoked salmon
  2. Process until smooth, about 20 seconds
  3. Transfer to a small bowl and stir in remaining chopped smoked salmon
  4. Top with parsley and serve with bagel chips or crackers

This receipe is AWESOME!! Very easy to make. I don’t even use the food processor, just mix with a spoon and soooo yummy.
I always have to make a double batch as everyone loves it. I would be rich now for the numerous times people have asked for the receipe, that I have extra copies made to give out.
